The Community Fund

The Community Fund is the definition of continuing care in that it provides financial resources to support residents facing financial challenges which impede their ability to pay Foxdale's monthly fees. In that regard, the Community Fund provides priceless peace of mind to all who become members of the Foxdale resident community - John Buzzell, Resident

Foxdale’s founders envisioned a caring community that would embrace and support members in many ways. The Community Fund provides funding for residents who experience financial challenges that impede their ability to pay their monthly fees.

Thanks to contributions made by hundreds of donors, corporate and Resident Association boards, and investment income, the corpus of the Community Fund stood at $2.6 million as of December 2011. During the 2011 calendar year contributions made by residents, family members, and friends of members of the Foxdale community totaled $834,288.18! The Community Fund provided $57,000 in support during fiscal year 2010 (7/1/09-6/30/10) and $60,000 in fiscal year 2011 (7/1/10-6/30/11).
