Foxdale Village was formed out of philanthropy over twenty years ago, when its pioneering founders first met in 1985 to discuss their vision for creating a caring community. Gifts of time, talent, and financial resources created not just a non-profit continuing care retirement community of buildings, but a community imbued with the spirit of members supporting one another. That spirit of giving permeates Foxdale today. Residents, family members, employees and all members of the Foxdale community thank those led by the spirit of giving who make gifts to further this caring community.
Supporting the Foxdale Community
The Community Fund
The Community Fund serves as a bulwark for residents, helping ensure their ability to remain a part of this caring community should they experience significant financial misfortune. While confidentiality prevents sharing information about those receiving support, Foxdale can assure donors that their gifts make a significant difference in the lives of community members.
Employee Assistance, Housing and Education Funds
Three funds provide support for Foxdale’s highly skilled and deeply appreciated employees.
- The Employee Assistance Fund provides no-interest loans for unplanned expenses such as vehicle repair, travel to visit a family member who is ill, etc.
-The Employee Housing Fund provides assistance with housing-related expenses such as down payments, foreclosure avoidance, utilities, etc.
-The Employee Education Fund supports staff training and/or career progression by providing funding for certificate and degree programs.
"When fuel prices were so high and money was tight, the Employee Assistance Fund was there to help me get through a rough patch. I would have fallen way behind in my bills had the Employee Assistance Fund not been available. It is a wonderful program!" (Employee Assistance Fund Recipient)
