Tama Carey

Chief Executive Officer

Joining the Foxdale Village team in 2020, Tama brings nearly four decades of experience in the long-term care and health services industries. Previously, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of Presby Inspired Life in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. Tama received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in PA.

Deb Shughart

Chief Financial Officer

Deb joined the Foxdale team as Chief Financial Officer in September 2020. She oversees all financial affairs at Foxdale Village as well as the Business office and Information Technology areas. Deb holds an M.B.A. from Penn State and has worked for several types of healthcare providers including long-term care, hospitals, clinics and home health.

Meg Clouser

Director of Health Services

Bringing years of experience in the long-term care industry to Foxdale Village, Meg oversees Foxdale’s personal care and skilled nursing care neighborhoods as well as therapy services, the wellness program, and the health office. Previously, she was the Nursing Home Administrator for a skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation facility. Meg holds a Master’s degree in health and human service administration and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and licensed Personal Care Home Administrator.

Adam Day

Director of Facilities/Strategic Development

A member of the Foxdale Village team since 2013, Adam oversees Foxdale’s maintenance, housekeeping, transportation and laundry services. Previously, he served as Facilities Manager with University Orthopedics Center in State College. Adam holds undergraduate degrees from Mount Ida College and East Carolina University, and a Master’s of Education from Salisbury University.

Mary Jane Schreffler

Director of Human Resources

Mary Jane is an experienced Human Resources professional whose background includes human resources experience in non-profit, manufacturing and health care settings. Her experience includes domestic and international human resources in areas such as strategic planning, project management, benefits, payroll, divestitures and acquisitions, compliance and employee relations. Mary Jane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University, holds a Senior Professional Human Resource Certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Lisa Harrington

Director of Residency Planning/Marketing

Lisa joined Foxdale Village in 2016 as a sales counselor in the Residency Planning and Marketing Department and became director of the department in January 2020. Prior to joining Foxdale, Lisa worked in banking for Nittany Bank and National Penn Bank in State College. She holds a B.S. degree from SUNY Geneseo and is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Centre County.

Allison Baxter

Compliance and Risk Manager

Allison has held roles in various departments since joining the Foxdale team in 2009. As the Compliance and Risk Manager she chairs the Risk Management, Compliance, and Employee Safety Committees and serves on QAPI, Research and Emergency Preparedness committees. Allison has a BA in Anthropology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Mansfield University. In 2020, she earned a Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management (CPASRM) credential.
