Sometimes we need a little assistance—that’s why Darlington House is here. Located in the Community Center, Darlington House is a residential neighborhood at Foxdale Village designed to meet the needs of those who require assistance with physical care but want to remain as independent as possible. We welcome Foxdale residents as well as non-residents directly. Our caring and compassionate staff is here to focus on enhancing your independence, such as assisting with medications and daily living tasks, so you can focus on living each day to its fullest.

With the Community Center right at your doorstep, you’ll be at the heart of it all, with plenty of social, cultural and educational opportunities as well as great dining options. In addition, residents may also receive physician care and access our on-site Medical Home, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, and other therapeutic interventions.

Nursing Care: Anthony House

If you need nursing care, you can find it at Anthony House, a private licensed nursing care neighborhood located at Foxdale Village. It is designed to meet the needs of those who require around-the-clock nursing and medical supervision. With this in mind, Anthony House offers 24-hour professional nursing services, physician care on a regular basis and on-site Medical Home, pharmaceutical services, and a range of therapeutic activities. Each resident has their own private room and bathroom. Foxdale prides itself on staffing its nursing care center with higher staff ratios than the state requires.

Memory Care and Support

Foxdale provides compassionate memory care and support tailored to each resident’s individual needs. Specialized memory support services are available within our secure memory care neighborhood, while dementia-informed care and supportive programming are incorporated throughout the community.

Our experienced team creates opportunities for engagement, purpose, and meaningful daily experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Families can have peace of mind knowing their loved one is receiving personalized care that promotes dignity, comfort, and well-being.

 

Short-Term Rehab

Foxdale Village offers short-term rehab services that are open to all residents as well as the greater State College community. Whether from a recent surgery or a sports injury, we can take care of your rehab therapy needs, so you can get the most out of every day.
