Fences (2016) – Multicultural Film Festival

March 27 @ 7:00 pm 10:00 pm

A powerful and intimate drama set in 1950s Pittsburgh, this film follows a former Negro League baseball player turned sanitation worker as he wrestles with unrealized dreams, family responsibilities, and the realities of racial barriers. As tensions rise within his household, long-buried disappointments and generational struggles come to the surface. With gripping performances and emotional intensity, the story explores love, pride, and the complex bonds that both divide and unite a family. (2 hrs. 19 min., PG-13)
