Natural Resources of Rockview Land

Join us in the Foxdale Village Auditorium for a community panel on the natural resources of Rockview land. Local experts will share insights on the environment, agriculture, water systems, and history of the Rockview State Correctional Institution property, including the value of its soils for farming, how groundwater supports Spring Creek, and which ecological features should be protected and preserved.
The panel will consist of Elizabeth Crisfield, ClearWater Conservancy, Andy Bater, PA Farm Bureau, Chris Buchignami, Mt. Nittany Conservancy, and Elyse Johnson, Spring Creek Watershed Commission. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
