The Community, Invasive Plants, and You.

We are fortunate enough to live in a beautiful area. Unfortunately, some beautiful plants, including trees and shrubs, that were intentionally and responsibly planted have subsequently been identified as being invasive. They have escaped cultivation and have had a negative impact on our environment.

Dr. Kim Steiner, the former director of The Arboretum at Penn State, will provide an overview of the problems created by invasive plants and their impact on the wider environment.
