Foxdale Village welcomes Brenda Horner to the second floor art gallery. The show and reception are free and open to the public.
Growing up on a family farm in rural Bellefonte, Brenda Horner developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world, finding inspiration in the fields, fencerows, and landscapes that surrounded her. After rediscovering her creative passion through calligraphy and hand-lettering, she began exploring watercolor, a medium that quickly became central to her artistic expression.
A self-taught watercolor artist, Brenda is drawn to the luminous, transparent qualities of watercolor and embraces its natural movement and spontaneity. Her work is inspired by the beauty found in everyday moments, with each painting reflecting her personal interpretation of nature and the emotions it evokes.
Visiting hours are from 8:00am – 5:00pm weekdays and from noon until 4:00pm on weekends, September 21 – November 19, 2026. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
